In early October, I met “Les Perles” a group of women from all walks of life, in precarious situations, who gather for creative and cultural workshops at Secours Catholique.

Their association encourages them to engage in social and cultural openness. They meet every Wednesday afternoon to exchange, sing, go to the cinema, attend the theater, or take part in creative workshops.

They are French, Moroccan, Indian, Albanian, Syrian, and more, sharing their cultures and differences for an afternoon.

Together, we blended our stories—my photos, their smiles, their portraits, and their words.
